FAQ #: 278
Q: FANS seem too loud
A:If it is the internal fans, ensure no wires or anything else has come in contact with the fans. Visually inspect for dust/dirt/debris is not logged or seen with the eye visibly. Try a quick puff of electronics duster to clear any excess dust. If it is the external fan (Turbo), remove the front half of the Turbo plastic housing and ensure the fan is still adhered on to the back plastic housing. If the fan has come loose, a dab of silicone on each side should solve the noise issue. Do not apply any silicone on the fan blades If all else fails and everything else is good, try ordering a replacement fan kit from your favorite distributor. Midnite Solar also offers repair service for this, contact a Tech to assist.
