![]() APRS World
Data logging center. The four green things are the current transducers.
PV input current and MPPT controller output current are measured
through these current sensors. To the right of these current sensors
are the voltage connections to the system. APRS World built a custom
voltage measuring board located in the upper right corner of the
data center. The blue box in the upper left corner gathers the information
and sends it wirelessly to the internet connection in the house.
![]() This is the
power system with all the covers removed. Top left is a Xantrex
T-240 to step down the 240VAC generator to 120VAC. Middle left shows
the Xantrex SW4048 inverter. To the right of the inverter is the
OutBack MX60. Next is a MidNite Solar MNE175LT E-Panel. Next is
the MidNite Classic. To the right of the Classic is a MidNite Solar
MNPV3 combiner housing the 15 amp 250VDC PV input breaker and 63
amp charge controller output breaker. You don’t always need to use
our PV combiner as a combiner. The last box on the right is the
APRS World data logging center.
![]() The photo
below shows the same as above but with the covers in place.
![]() This picture
shows both controllers operating. There is a lack of conduit in
this installation due to the expected temporary nature of the installation.
