Midnite Solar designs, manufactures, and sells, advanced electronic devices, combiner boxes, disconnects and installation aids specific to the renewable energy industry. The all new Classic Charge Controller offers advanced features and built in Arc Fault Protection not available from any other manufacturer. Our new lightning/surge arrestor is the first in our industry to offer real protection to power electronics, low cost rebuilds, all at competitive price.

With the ever changing electrical codes, our engineers stay ahead of the industry with new designs and solutions. All of our products are substantially made in America. We add new machines and jobs as needed to our production facility in Arlington, WA, which also serves as our company's headquarters. Our products are found in renewable energy systems, worldwide.

Here's new Classic code. Latest update, Feb 4, 2012

This Firmware version adds:

• "Insomnia" stay awake mode for Hydro mode (Note not for use on other modes)
• "Pwr Save" menu. This allows back light auto-off feature that is user adjustable.
• "SHIFT" function to Aux 1&2 voltage adjustments accelerates adjustments.
• Improvements to Hydro Mode.
• Moonscope now has a gain adjustment. Soft-Right raises gain and Soft-Left lowers gain.
• Vbine 48V VAWT turbine curves into default memory.
• Dairyland Windpower Curves added for the DWP320 Turbine
• Improvements to the Logging features of the Classic.
• PV Shade reporting can be enabled/disabled.
• Fans now go on at higher temperature and will go off while resting.
• TCP/IP Modbus port adjustment in MISC menu
• Firmware Version number added to Classic/MNGP revision screen
• Clipper mode adds absolute high voltage limit adjustment.
• Option to data log while Classic is Resting
